Solid strives to design a lightweight base system for pre-rigged truss that can travel with the truss fully assembled, enabling fast and efficient deployment without the need for disassembly or additional setup time.
SOLUTION
The Truss Ski is an innovative base system designed to support and transport 14” pre-rigged truss with ease and efficiency. Unlike traditional bulky base systems, the Truss Ski allows the truss to be securely attached and tipped up without the need for large, cumbersome supports, significantly reducing overall weight and space requirements.

Standardized Fit: The system is specifically designed to accommodate 14” pre-rigged truss, ensuring compatibility with most standard truss designs commonly used in the industry.
Lightweight and Compact: The Truss Ski provides the necessary support while maintaining a lightweight structure, making it easy to transport and maneuver. Its small footprint also ensures minimal storage space is required, which is particularly beneficial for venues or companies with limited storage capacity.
Perfect Balance: The design is perfectly balanced for typical truss setups, ensuring stable transportation and ease of tipping up when ready for deployment, without the risk of tipping over or instability.
Durable Finish: The Truss Ski features a black powder coat finish for added durability and protection against wear and tear, while maintaining a professional, sleek appearance.
UHMW Pad: A UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) pad is incorporated into the design, providing smooth maneuverability during transport and reducing friction, which helps protect the truss from damage during deployment.
This system streamlines the setup process by allowing the truss to remain assembled during transport, resulting in faster deployment and increased efficiency on the job site.
